About Me

Hi! I'm Lucas, a recent graduate with degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. This fall, I'll be pursuing a Master's in Quantum Computing at UW-Madison. I'm passionate about using technology to solve problems and create meaningful experiences. I'm currently seeking full-time or internship opportunities starting in fall 2025.

I'm currently a software engineering intern at vRad (Virtual Radiologic) , where I am working on teleradiology software. I've also been working as an AI Research Manager through the school of Educational Psychology, where I am leading my team in developing and training LLMS in the context of educational data. We have created a unique software that has been used in multiple research studies, leading to a publication. I'm also the Vice President of Engineering for the UW Software Development Club, where I lead 20+ groups of students in developing unique projects.

In my free time, I enjoy working on side projects, playing video games, reading, golfing, and spending time with friends and family.

MadMarket is a web application that allows UW students to buy and sell items with other students. Users can create listings, add items to their cart, and contact a seller. This was created as part of MadHacks 2023, Wisconsin's largest hackathon. (Note: Not currently deployed)

Weather App

This is a simple weather app that allows users to search for a city or zip code and get the current weather. The app uses the OpenWeatherMap API to fetch the weather data and dynamically update the background based on the current conditions.
