About Me

Hi! I'm Lucas, a senior double majoring in Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. I'm passionate about using technology to solve problems and create meaningful experiences. I'm currently seeking either a full-time software engineering role or an internship starting in Summer 2024.

I'm currently an AI undergraduate researcher through the school of Educational Psychology, where we are training and analyzing LLMs in the context of educational data. I'm also the Vice President of Engineering for the UW Software Development Club, where I lead 20+ groups of students in developing unique projects.

In my free time, I enjoy working on side projects, playing video games, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

This is a simple weather app that allows users to search for a city or zip code and get the current weather. The app uses the OpenWeatherMap API to fetch the weather data and dynamically update the background based on the current conditions.
